Just a few days ago, I watched my daughter walk across the graduation stage. With her cap slightly askew and that unmistakable mix of nerves and pride in her smile, I realized something: we had reached the end of a chapter we wrote together, day by day, for 17 years. And now, the page was turning.

I won’t lie—becoming a partial empty nester hits you in ways you can’t quite prepare for. The house is a little quieter. The calendar is less packed. And there's this strange blend of pride and sadness that sits quietly in your chest. But there’s also something else... something powerful. A deep awareness that this is also a beginning. For her, yes—but for me, too.

As a young mom who built a life around loving, guiding, and supporting my daughter, I now find myself rediscovering parts of myself I’d tucked away. And more than ever, I feel called to help others as they take their own first steps into something new.
