A Full-Circle Journey: Growing into My Role in Real Estate

My career in real estate didn’t start where you might expect. I was first hired as a nanny for Haley Larson, a high-producing real estate agent. At the time, my world revolved around caring for her family, but working so closely with her gave me a unique backstage pass into the fast-paced world of real estate. I got to see what it takes to run a successful business: the organization, the client relationships, the strategy, and the hustle.

As I spent more time with the team, I began taking on tasks beyond childcare—managing schedules, coordinating communications, and helping with the day-to-day operations. Gradually, I transitioned into a full-time real estate assistant/transaction coordinator. This shift was eye-opening. I realized I didn’t just enjoy the work—I thrived in it. I loved being part of a team that made dreams come true, helping clients navigate big decisions, and seeing the tangible results of dedication and hard work.

Eventually, I moved away and explored a slower-paced assistant role in a new city. While it gave me perspective and valuable experience, I quickly discovered that my passion is fueled by challenge, momentum, and growth. The slower pace made me realize just how much I had missed the energy and impact of a fast paced, busy team.

That realization brought me back home—and back to Haley’s team. Returning felt like coming full circle. Now, with the experience I gained while away, I bring even more insight, efficiency, and drive to my role. I’ve learned that growth isn’t always linear; it sometimes takes stepping away to understand where you truly belong.

I’m also incredibly thankful for the opportunity to grow even further by helping with the satellite offices. Being able to contribute to multiple teams and support a larger network allows me to expand my skills while continuing to do what I love: helping clients, supporting a strong team, and being part of a thriving real estate business.

Real estate is more than a job for me—it’s where I thrive. From nanny, to assistant, to exploring life away, and then returning home to fully embrace my role, my journey has taught me that finding the right team and environment makes all the difference. When you’re in the right place, your work isn’t just work—it’s a space to grow, contribute, and flourish every single day.
